“I watched Kolberg out of curiosity, "the most expensive propaganda movie ever made". I enjoyed the rapid pace of the plot. I found the colours very life like, also the many disasters that levelled the besieged town. Battle scenes were very impressive - those thousands of troops diverted from defence of the Fatherland!”
